Overthinking

I think about my blog a lot. I don't post, I just think about it. One thought has been, what direction do I want this blog to go? Niches seem to be the thing, what's my niche- mommy blogger, money saving, Christian, unemployed loser? Then it came to me! I'm an idiot! When did I buy into this whole need for a hook? I started this blog as cheap therapy, a way to document my thoughts and my kids' milestones. And a few Fun Mondays thrown in there. I miss coming here and getting things off my chest. I miss interacting with my blog friends (I hope some of you are still here).

What direction will my blog go? Why can't it go the 27 different directions I find myself going each day? So there it is- Ice Cream Mama, 27 Flavors.

Hello there. Remember me? It has been four months since I've been here but for some reason I am still getting 5 to 10 hits a day. Good old Site Meter and their updating emails!

What has been going on?
A lot of Plurking. I love Plurk. So much better than Twitter. I know it can be confusing at first but stick with it. I promise, it is worth it.

I've been lurking around your blogs, stalking you on Facebook and generally just hiding out for a while. I needed the break but now I need to blog.

So here I am. Will you take me back?

I haven't blogged with any consistency for the last ten months or so. So I am going to consistently not blog. For a while anyway. Will I be back? I don't know. I'm pretty sure there's only four of you left here anyway so there won't be too big a hole in the internet.

I love Baby On Bored, not that she knows since I'm too intimidated to comment on her site. Hi Stephanie- love you! She turned me on to this great new blog. The title? Wind In Your Vagina! The story behind the title is priceless. I just spent the last half hour hiding from my kids reading his archives. Go check him out.

Well Blogger ate the 2006 meme I swiped from All & Sundry. It took me forever to do that thing and I had some fun doing it. Well I don't know what happened, some bizarro error. I managed to retrieve it but after all the negatives this week, I'm moving out.

Irritated & Indesicive

Blogger is really irritating me. I'm having problems posting comments on other people's blogs. I had trouble signing in. I hate my job this time of year. I can't even blame my irritation on PMS. I spent an hour last night cutting & pasting to WordPress, since I'm using new Blogger I can't just import everything. My site here is so pretty I hate to lose it. So in addition to being irritated, I am also indecisive. What's a girl to do? Someone please tell me.

So many of my favorite people are moving out of Blogger. The beta version is driving some crazy. I am using Beta. I had only been on Blogger for a few posts when Miss Zoot asked for some beta volunteers to try out a new template. Well, I love Zoot's designs so I jumped at that. (Hey, I'm a girl, I like pretty and Zoot does pretty so well.)

Anyway, a lot of people are moving out and are very happy with their new homes and all of the cool things that come with them. So I decided to check out Wordpress. Well, of course I really liked it. It seems like you can do so much with it. Hell, I may even be able to figure out how to link my NaBloPoMo button on Wordpress. I said to self, "We're moving on out, to a deluxe apartment...."

Looky here, you can import your old blog into your new blog. Hot dog, that's just great! I love it here....what?!....cannot import from Blogger beta.

Now what? Do I still move & figure out some way to bring stuff over? Cut and paste? I barely have time to blog, never mind cut & paste. Is there any other way to bring stuff over? Should I stay here at Blogger? But I can have a pretty ice cream header over there. Should I look elsewhere?

Help! What should I do?

When I first decided to do this blog, I made some promises to myself about what I would & would not write about. Given that, I have nothing to post today. Hopefully next time will be better.

I'm Gonna' Try

I signed up at Fussy to participate in NaBloPoMo. I am going to attempt to post every day in November. Now I just have to figure out what I am going to post about! I always think I have a lot to say (who am I kidding, my mouth is always running) so November is the month to say it.

I'll probably post about my damn thyroid, books I'm reading, the holidays and other fascinating delights. Yep, fascinating.

New Look By Miss Zoot

It's so pretty around here now! Miss Zoot asked for Blogger Beta volunteers to test out her new template and I jumped at the chance. Who wouldn't to have such a great look? She's got some kinda talent. How anyone can take what looks like mumbo jumbo to me and turn it into a great looking and easy to use template is beyond me.
